Hey PorcFest! Brian Becker here...

I'd like to help clear up any conspiracy theories and try to mediate peace as we attempt to quickly herd cats for our next PorcFest. We just finished an incredible Liberty Forum, where Carla announced that PorcFest has expanded. As with every change, this made some heads explode... and the rumors and opinions start churning.

Roger's Campground
After over 20 years of hosting our group, the FSP leadership was unable to come to agreeable terms with Crosby on hosting PorcFest at Roger's again this year. I was not involved in the conversations, but I know he had taken a lot of abuse with a few of the attendees last year. There were no winners in losing Rogers, but I'm sure he will appreciate the peace this year. There will still at least be camping, and a unifying group photo on Saturday. Roger's has full control over what happens that week, so if we're good to them we might even see a bonfire one night.

PorcFest at the fairground
We attempted to negotiate a contract with a fairgrounds in NH to host us this year, but that could not be completed in time due to the town's involvement and other restrictions. What others? I don't know, nor is it important. The later dates were chosen with that in mind.
I personally wasn't involved, but I know that Jamie worked her ass off to try to find and secure a replacement venue. 🙏❤️🙏 Losing that was disappointing, but I am certain it was for the best.

PorcFest Decentralized!
About a week ago, an idea was proposed to hold PorcFest in New Hampshire. In ALL of New Hampshire.
This has been a vision of mine for years, especially after seeing the amazing scheduling system and decentralized hubs of 2024.
Why draw imaginary lines around where we're gathering? The tech was capable of scaling out to the entire state, so why are we limiting ourselves?

As the dates got close, an announcement was vital, and decisions were made to just decentralize it.
...and I have been preparing for this my whole life!!! 💫

Decentralized hubs offering their own independent events for the rest of the world to experience life in New Hampshire. The work typically required to bring our club to PorcFest could instead be spent building our own version of PorcFest to show off at our own club!

THIS WILL BE AMAZING if you want it.
I want it.
And much of the effort is on my shoulders.
I have the coolest hub, in the coolest town.
I'm developing and hosting the website for the schedule, and managing the tickets.
I have a home at Roger's, and I'm friends with the owner.
I'm managing and moderating half of the groups on Telegram.
I also plan to interconnect the clubs for video conference and live streaming.
Annnd... now I'm a meditator.
Are you seeing the centralization and dependence? I feel it

As an empath (also INTP), I try to avoid other peoples drama. I'll read about it occasionally, and sometimes offer to help develop solutions, but I have never seen value in feeding trolls. I'm an open book with my own life, and anyone can ask me anything. I recently read that some empaths are more inclined to just keep quiet and take names. Yes.
Hater's gonna hate, and Statists gonna state.

Wanna help?
Build something. Find a club and ask how you can best support them. Volunteer for one of our many organizations working toward freedom. Find a need and fill it. Find your purpose. Form a team.
The people in the FSP are working tirelessly to keep the vehicle alive.
The porcupines in the Free State are the ones building our community.
Attracting freedom to New Hampshire is the main goal, and everything we build is another critical tool to help us do that.

Freedom, Decentralization, and Unity
Ross sang these words of freedom at the Bitcoin Conference after being freed from his cage of 12 years.
This is what it takes, to win.
We're blazing a new trail in New Hampshire and we need all the help we can get.
PorcFest has always been a festival of Freedom and Unity... And now it's Decentralized!

Let's showcase our communities as a beacon of hope to the world. 💫 ✌️🦔

Howdy Everyone!

This will be my first visit to NH (Porcfest) and I just got access to this forum.

Thank you for the message Brian - it does cause me pause as to WHERE (Weare? heh) to make accommodations arrangements though, eh?

Actually, that is what I was hoping to glean from the Forum - I don't really have anything to do with Fakebook, etc so....any help is appreciated.

If it matters, I'll be riding my Beemer out there so camping is alright but a room might be preferable.

Appeal to Heaven, Chris

PS: My understanding is that on the flag was written "Appeal to Heaven" - not "An Appeal to Heaven", isn't that right?

Hello again.

Here is my vision of how PorcFest could look. These opinions are my own, and probably don't reflect the entire FSP.

The decentralized PorcFest model is intended to be created by those who choose to be involved. A concentration of events and visitors compressed into one week.
The FSP is able to host the shared schedule, and promote the dates and locations.

Think of the FSP as a Destination Marketing Organization, and consider what role it should have as event organizers.
We are all volunteers, and any "FSP should" could be replaced with "Eric should"... or if you really want it to happen, then replace it with "I will".

So, for PorcFest to happen, we need people planning events. The popular events will draw more people, and smaller ones may just be a few friends.
If you need a large location for more people, public parks, lakes, and beaches are always an option.

What does the FSP need?

What is the role of the FSP?
Attracting movers that have signed the SOI.

How do we do that?
Promoting the best parts of living in New Hampshire, from a freedom perspective.

Why tickets?
This is the best way to show you support our efforts in continuing the tradition of PorcFest.
This also allows you to create an account that can be used to schedule your events, and gives you a voice in the forum.

How does decentralized PorcFest help this goal?
By showcasing the best parts of New Hampshire, and it's people, in a single week.

Why keep the name?
For over 20 years PorcFest has represented the model of a Free society during the summer equinox.
We held a festival while the rest of the world locked down in 2020.
We had over 2500 people in 2023, including 3 presidential candidates.
PorcFest has never been professionally produced, to my knowledge.
As the past few years have created the demand for more decentralization, the FSP (volunteers) responded with a schedule that anyone could use to host events at their campsite.
We were building a city from the ground up. Vendors selling food, coffee, defense, metals, tech, art, crafts, and everything the market could provide.
Every year, the Porcupine Festival showcased a truly free market. Much like the Silk Road centuries ago, and the online Silk Road last decade.
PorcFest is the people. FTL Tent, LPNH tent, Shire Society Lounge, Milk Road, Zoe's Pizza, Nights by the fire, and mornings chatting over coffee.
The challenge is locating the tribe that you'd best connect with. That's where you may be required to do some legwork.

Now is our chance to expand that market to the entirety of New Hampshire.
NH is relatively small, and most places can be accessed in under an hour.
No matter where you stay, there's ample time to account for travel from place to place.

For potential porcs...
The geography is best experienced during these travels, and you're able to literally get a feel for the roads.
Find what you enjoy, find the areas you could settle a home in. Find your new home.
Choose accommodations in the area where you'd like to eventually settle, or where you feel attracted to. DYOR, or find some Porcs to help guide you.
Concord, NH is the most central to everything, and is approximately 20-30 minutes from most meeting locations. Roger's is about 90 minutes from Concord.

For Clubhouses...
Find your audience, build your tribe, showcase your place. Think of it as an open house week, and choose the level you're comfortable in participating.
Make money. People want to see the clubs. You want members, or money, or friends, or whatever drives your passion.

For the FSP...
Respond to requests for information with resources to help connect clubhouses, volunteers, porcupines, and potential porcs.

For potential volunteers, hosts, speakers...
Connect with porcs in state to see how you can help.
Dennis has a list of over 300 affinity groups, where you can introduce yourself to life in the Free State.
Prepare to promote your project, skill, or talent.
Create one thing that you think will best connect you with those that you would like to network with.

What's next?

There are a huge number of groups and messages discussing opinions of PorcFest 2026.

Regardless of what anyone does at this point, the idea is out there.

The dates are set, but the schedule is empty.

The FSP has yet to announce their plan, and I am not trying to be involved in any decision making.

Thank you all for your understanding and patience as we work through the societal, political, structural, logistic, financial, and many more challenges while we attempt to create liberty in our lifetime AND host the largest decentralized freedom festival on earth.

We are exerting our fullest practical effort toward creating a society in which the maximum role of government is the protection of individual rights to life, liberty, and property. If you'd like to help, please join us!

Brian
